Versatility in One Piece

Someday I'll be able to shop without looking at prices.  I'll wear something once, and then never wear it again...  Who am I kidding?  I could be a bazillionaire and the need to see if what I'm buying is a good value will ALWAYS be there.  It's deeply rooted in my being.  Although, the price of a piece immediately goes up when I can say to myself, "Can I wear this all year long?"  If I can get multiple uses out of a wardrobe piece, it's worth multiple pieces.  And every single one of the pieces from Julianne Collections has incredible versatility.

I've acquired a new dress that I can confidently say, I'll be wearing not only all year long, but for years to come.  See, when a piece has major versatility, it ups my game.  I travel quite a bit and being able to pack one piece that I can wear on the beach, shopping and even to dinner scores high in my closet points.  The best part is, seasonably speaking, this dress still has 100% versatility.  Sandals and sunnies in the Summer, a thin sweater layered underneath for the Fall, over-the-knee boots and a leather jacket for winter and then back to peep-toe heels and a blazer for Spring.

Now let's give credit where credit is due.  This stunning dress was designed by an incredibly talented Designer named, Julianne Jennings, and if you haven't seen all her pieces, then you must.  I'm obsessed with every single one.  Check out all her beautiful designs HERE.

"Julianne worked as a freelance textile designer for the past 30 years selling her work to top designers and manufacturers in the New York fashion industry. As a fine artist her 3, 9 foot hand painted silk banners hung in Washington, D.C. at the Smithsonian Institution. She has received numerous awards for her paintings on silk and continues to enjoy teaching classes on the art of painting on silk. Her textile designs continue to sell and can be seen at boutiques and department stores world wide."

I'm in love with all Julianne's pieces, and each one has serious versatility.  Take the stunning peach floral dress pictured above, for example.  With a pair of flat sandals and a sun hat, you could take on any summer day.  Belt it, slide on some peep-toe heels and a clutch and your look instantly goes to night.  For cooler evenings, a pair of booties and a leather jacket with it will make everyone's head turn.  To check out her entire collection, click HERE.
